Why am I currently identifying with the gooey caterpillar soup?

Because work isn't quite working for me the way I need it to.

So I'm leaning into abundance instead and paying people I trust for help.

In this Chaos Moment, we need human connection with people who can share ideas and emotions with us.

That's the caregiving work I'm leaning into and putting out in the world. I hope being a guide and an experimenter like this, publicly, is part of what makes that care work (and CARE work) resonate with others. And I hope, if it feels right for you, that you'll join me in CARE.

A major pillar of the work I do is community building. That’s radical in a time when the public discourse is so much more about shutting down voices of dissent.

To give us all a little grace, I'm leaving the doors open to join the next cohort of CARE (the Consortium of Arts Related Entrepreneurs) for just a little longer.

I'm leaning into my Q4 spirit as a brave, evolving leader.

I'm spreading the spirit of directing my own sails.

I'm launching some new offers and reaching out for your help to spread the word.

I've come to the center of my Rippling Year. An interesting place to be for a year in which I'm reminding myself to be guided by the question What is my center and what am I spreading?

I know my work is better when I do it with others. That can be true for all of us if we think of ourselves as parts of an ecosystem. Our outputs can be as rich and varied as a forest when we share resources the way woodland species do.

CARE is open for registration. The deadline is November 10.

Let’s be in community together. Let’s be imperfect and generous of spirit. Let’s push back against the pressures of isolationism and domination and hierarchy in this collective nest of sharing and support.

CARE is underway! The initial cohort of the Consortium of Arts Related Entrepreneurs (CARE) has been coming together for just over a month now, and I’m so impressed with and inspired by this group of people.

The cornucopia spirit is one of bounty and flourishing, where nourishment can be found for the mind, body, heart, and bank account. For those who choose to partake omnivorously, compassionate thriving and a suite of surprises await.

The Consortium of Arts Related Entrepreneurs (CARE) is a 6-month long community (February–August 2023) where independent arts and culture workers join together virtually to learn, teach, support each other, and build entrepreneurial skills.
