Keeping the spirit of my Year of Attunement going, I’m refreshing the format of this here newsletter, which you may already have noticed.

You all were very helpful by answering my single-question survey about what you’re curious to see when you open this newsletter. So that’s what I’m doing.

For 2026, I'm pulling a tarot card to guide each of my blog posts. The card I pulled today was the King of Pentacles, which indicates mastery over the earthly, material sphere.
Here are some recent examples of where I do have the material wisdom and competence of the King of Pentacles.

I've picked Attunement as my word of the year for its senses of harmonizing with another's state and put in desirable condition and the post-Industrial-Revolution set a machine in order for work.

decisive, swift action on an idea that has taken over your thoughts; intellectual ambition, strength, and action that can be exciting and also blindly fruitless

Death
accepting the ending of a cycle and the start of something new; uncertainty amidst transition

the culminating card of the journey from ace to 10 for the pentacles (suit of earth & worldly goods)

As I’m working on reconfiguring my business to be what I want, I’m trying to bring some lightness, ease, and fun to how I work. This is a week of intuitive play.

Ace of Cups
the kernel/seed of the suit of cups (suit of water, emotions)
a fresh start with emotional receptivity and openheartedness

I like setting intentions as a way to direct my thoughts, my energy, my vibes to be especially open in that area of my life. It means I’m ready to be receptive in that arena. The dish is tuned. The radar signal is switched on.

I want to take a moment here at the midpoint of the year to reflect on and celebrate some of my achievements in the first half of the year gone by.
